advice on a road bike

    Hi, hoping to buy a road bike in the coming weeks, what advice would ye give on these bikes.
    Da vinci dv 1203 new or
    giant Defy 4 2nd hand
    Not looking to do major road miles just a weekly 30/40 km and the odd adventure race...
    Both of these are more or less the same price
    Any advice appreciate thanks

    The Defy without hesitation. The Devinchi is a cheap budget bike with budget components and probably weighs 14kg. Don't even go and look at it.

    Cheers was edging to the gaint alright, just taught the other on with carbon forks etc would be a bit lighter....
