Overpaid by employer?

I started a new job three months ago and recently looked at my payslip for my first couple of weeks on the job. It appears that I was overpaid about €200 and I'm unsure what to do.

Should I consult a manager? I'm worried I'll get in trouble or somebody else in trouble for that matter.

Is it likely to be spotted at this stage? It's been a couple of months, there have several payrolls since and the firm is relatively big. I'm a part-time worker on a short-term contract.

What do I do? Has anyone else been in a similar position before?

    Talk to them.
It's easy to make arrangements to have it repaid in small amounts over weeks.

No matter when it's found they will be entitled to it back so may as well be now.
