For your own sanity you're best of just getting it checked with your GP. It's torture having to worry about something like that for so long.

Do check with your GP.... if it's enough to worry you, it's enough to go to the doctor with. I know there's a degree of apprehension there, it's awkward, but consider the alternative and you'd be kicking yourself if you just sat on your hands.

In the vast majority of cases, you are grand, but best get on it now.
