Bvd query

Hi, any idea what's the chances of a PI calf passing second test with an initial test result of 2.77?
Also how do you go about getting grant if removed per requirements? Dept pay automatically or do I need to get a form?

I had 2 pi's, the 1st reading was 2.5 and 3.5 both retested positive after the 3 weeks.

The lady in the bvd office said once they go through the system after culling you will recieve payment. My 2 were only killed the week before last and havent checked if I got paid yet.

Did ye test the cow ... Had Pi calf this week outa a heifer I bought in 😕 sickened but hav sent the heifers blood off for test

They said they do. But I havent checked the account yet. you will get there number on the letter they send you so no harm in ringing.

Yea I tested both cows. Both were negative. Still sent to the factory, they were fat and I wasnt keeping them when they are not doing their job.. make sure you isolate both heifer and calf from the rest.

Was week before got the test sent off had them in a separate pen but it's beside another one that had a cow that's ment be in calf now I hoping she not incase she got infected ... Going to ring the guy I bought the heifer off just to warn him some thing he has is infected

Did not test cow yet. Sorry to hear ur plight. It's a sickner

Test the cow I'm awaiting heifers results and that's determine weather to get a suck calf for her

I didn't know there was a reading you could get for Bvd, had a positive last week, cow second calf, last years calf was fine, this calf I a smasher lim/sh heifer,disgusted , ave to wait 3 weeks , lady in enfer said 20% chance negative after retest! fingers crossed
