Ceiling Lighting

I have three ceiling lights to wire in an extension. The wiring is as follows:

    Light 1: 2 N 1L 1E
    Light 2: 2 cables looped uncut- (2 N?) 1L 1E
    Light 3: 1L 1N 1E

So.... Light 1 I have wired up and is working fine with 2 neutral and 1 live in fitting. (No Earth required). Fitting has 1N 1L either side with two ports.

Light 3 i presume would wire as light 1 with 1N and 1L. The question is middle light which must be on a loop?

The fitting has 1N and 1L with two ports for each to be wired into.

    Any ideas? Thank You.

It doesn't really make sense the way this has been wired. The only way it could work is if the 3 three lights are switched independently and there was a live a the switch.

    Is this the set up?

    Yes.

The middle light seems to have two wires looping down as well as earth and Live.

The first light is hooked up- 1 L and 2N.
The third light has 1N 1L which is same as fitting.

The neutral will go from light 1 to light 2 to light 3. That's why there are 2 neutrals at light 2. Join them together at light 2 in the neutral terminal
terminal. Do the same at light 1 and put the lives in the live terminals of each light.
