Grass seed

    Hi,

I'm a novice at gardening. Bought a house and dug the whole back garden up. Put top soil down then to level out. Put down grass 2 weeks ago. When we got rain a couple of weeks ago I got big puddles in certain areas. I assumed this was because the garden was not level. I put more top soil in those areas.

Grass is growing in patches. I'm afraid I did not distribute the grass seed even or put down properly. My question is. Will grass spread to other areas if no grass seed there?

It will but could be very slow.
Get more seed and sow more.
