Windows 7 Missing User Profile

I started my laptop a couple of weeks ago and when the login screen appeared the two profiles (John and Home) I usually use weren't there. I logged in with the default profile and googled how to fix the missing user profile using this method described here:

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/deployment_field_notes/archive/2011/11/03/a-corrupted-profile-problem.aspx

So I've fixed the problem for my main profile (John) using the fix above but how do I restore the other profile (Home)? I've checked in the Registry Editor

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\

and the two profiles are listed, and I've checked C:/Users and the two directories John and Home are there too. Can anyone advise on how to get the Home profile to show up again? Thanks!
