Is it only google that you have diagnosed its the plugs themselves not another component in the glow plug system?

If I know a way to a car i wouldnt be here asking people nor googling answers, come on.

all i know is i got a glow plug light which naturally leads me to think that its a glow plug issue and needs to be replaced any other component with it is beyond me.

Diagnose the problem first, it could be something as simple as a fuse, the glow plug relay could be at fault. It may not be the plugs.
Is your car starting ok from cold?

I was driving when the problem occurred the car just slowed down refusing to accelerate, when I tried to start the car it would crank but won't actually start.. Hopefully it is a simple problem

Other more knowledgeable posters may say im wrong but I severely doubt glow plugs are your issue here. Glow plugs are only involved in very cold weather starting.

Upon my research for a solution I often found on articles that the glow plugs are only to help cold temp startso you are right about that.. Just testing the waters I guess to see if it's going to help..

    Possibly egr valve

The glow plug light illuminated means that the ecu has detected and logged a fault. It has nothing to do with the actual glow plugs themselves. You'll need to get the ecu scanned and find out what fault code is present.

Glow plug light flashing could be anything from brake light bulbs to a cam sensor.
when the car won't start I would think it's a faulty sensor.

You need to get it plugged in

    Possibly egr valve

    What makes you think that?

They are a common fault, glow plug light comes on, car goes into limp mode, only a suggestion of possible fault. Reality is that's it a waste of time even suggesting possibilities when the car has to be plugged into for a definite answer to the fault.
