Car sales peoples own cars?

I was wondering what cars would people that sell cars for a living actually buy with their own money if they had to?
Also, presuming a car sales person always has the use of a garage car how do they build up no claims bonus etc on insurance if they don't ever actually have to own a car?
I suspect most car sales people view cars as a product to sell and have a lot less enthusiasm for them than mugs like me that actually spend their own money on them. If they start out as enthusiasts I wonder does that change as they spend time in the industry?
    Anybody any insights?

Most guys won't have any personal insurance, they operate off the garage policy.

Kind of related but did anyone notice that most bmw salesmen are dicks that think they are far superior to everyone else and just in general are very up themselves. The funny thing is they are cruising around in new bmw's thinking they are the sh!t when truth be known they could never afford a new one in their wildest dream and actually have an average career at best. I'm not saying they are all like this but any bmw garage ive ever been in have been like that.

Anyway back to the question almost every car salesmen I know that married generally owns one family car and then they drive a garage car themselves all the time. Id say a lot of the salesmen don't own a car of their own but you would definitely get a few that have a love of cars and have weekend cars etc. But at the end of the day owning and running a car is a big expense so if you can get one for free to drive around in why not. On the downside it means you will be always switching cars which can be a good and bad thing.

I think BMW sales people are no different to any other premium sales people in my experience. Some better/nicer than others.
do car sales people have enthusiasm or interest in the product or is it just another commodity. I have been in conversations when it is obvious I know more about the cars after a little research done than they do andthey deal with the product every day.
What I'm wondering is what cars they themselves would buy if they had to spend their own mone?

I went shopping for a new car last year and eventually bought a BMW. Thought the sales guys were fairly good to be honest, knew the products well and no superiority issues. Also seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the cars so that is either genuine interest or very good training.

Audi were a bit less expert on the extras and specs etc. I seemed to know more than them about the standard spec which marred an otherwise good sales pitch.

Mercedes seemed totally uninterested in explaining the products or whether I bought them or not - so that helped a lot with the final decision.

My friend has a M5 and Range Rover sport (both 2015), but he owns the garage (as well as being the sales man)
