I've been on instagram for a while but didn't pay much attention to it. Lately I've been keeping more of an eye on it. Yesterday some randomer followed me, I had a look at their profile and they only follow about 50 people but have thousands of followers.

I thought it was odd but figured I knew what was going on. I followed them back (I'm assuming that was the whole idea) and within an hour they stopped following me. They obviously do this constantly to get more and more followers. It's a really odd thing to do. I follow friends, family, some famous people and UFC/MMA pages. I don't go around looking for random people to follow and don't try to get anyone to follow me.

Is having lots of followers really that big a deal on Instagram or Twitter?

I started an instagram account last week because my gym uses it a lot. I can't figure the feckin thing out at all at all.

You put photos or videos on it, you can put messages with them and seemingly lots of hashtags.

I did actually do the food thing for a while there, then I thought "why am I doing this?" and I didn't do it since.

I do like following some folk on it, and getting food ideas and the like. I dunno. Maybe I'll get to like it. Maybe it'll be like twitter and I never really "get" it at all!

I follow a few work folk who go on lots of crazy assignments into war zones and stuff, a few fitness freaks who remind me how lazy I am and a funny fcuker called @thefatjewish.

I love instagram. I follow celebs, cities, things of interest. Not into putting photos up myself, a few random things, no selfies or any of that ****e, but it is my favourite social media thing to do for sure.

I don't do selfies, I put up a photo or two of myself, some from spins or runs at the lake, that's about it. I've only put up 12 or 13.
