Did anyone else see Team Sky cycling around Dublin today.

I was coming down the embankment towards Tallaght and saw about 10 guys in full Team Sky kit...I saw a group coming up so i stuck out my hand to give a quick wave and it was only when I was alongside them I noticed they were all in full Sky kit.

They were all in great form giving full waves back.

Did anyone else see them or was I seeing things?

The Sky kit lads were a bunch of Fred's, but Nico Roche was also seen on Sally Gap today on his own.

Bunch of Freds, love it. When exactly did it become popular as the cycling equivalent of Micks or Manuels ?

When you tell your grandkids, phrase it simply as "I passed Nico on the way up Military Road when I was younger".

Its not a lie per say.

I seen a guy fully kitted out in the orange CCC Polish team colours in the Pheonix Park yesterday. Cracking bike he was on too. Certainly didn't look like a ametuer

That kit is the worst in the peloton. There's no way anyone would fake it.

Saw this guy at the start of the Rás yesterday in Dunboyne (he wasn't racing).

Full CCC kit, including matching overshoes and everything. Not this year's kit as it didn't have Sprandi on it. No idea who he is.

He sailed past us on the way up the gap on Saturday. Half of us hanging over the bars, and him toddling along probably with a heart rate of about 40....

One of the group thought it would be a great idea to try to chase him. Needless to say, Roche was long gone, and our man bonked on the way home, so not a great story for him to tell the grandkids.
