Help! What shoes!

I bought a dress for a wedding, I'm so in love with it it's not even funny. It's divine. Anyway, I don't know what shoes to wear with it.

It's very similar to the one pictured except the neckline is a little different.

My first thought was leopard print shoes and a leopard print hairband (I'm not usually the leopard print type at all!!!!). I just can't find the "right" leopard print. I found one pair for 90 quid but I won't wear them with anything else so I can't justify it.

So what colour/pattern should I look at. It's for a summer wedding so I'm not sure black is the way to go and besides, I don't really want to go safe, I'd like to go bold.

I have blonde hair and will be wearing it in a 50s kind of curl sort of like this, in case that matters.

I have a similar coloured dress and went with snakeskin shoes. Bought them in next last year, pointy toe and cut out on one side. Can't see them on their website though.

I've worn them with jeans, black legging and other dresses.

Would something from Lola Ramona suit? It would be more flamboyant option.



Otherwise I think something white could work too.

I would say stick to a one colour pump patterns may clash and look busy. I usually match my coat and hand bag to my shoes. Easiest option for me

I would go with a deep purple satin peep toe like wise with bag but maybe a black coat to break it up.

I like those blue ones, the style would work. New look and Asos have similar (i.e. cheaper!!!) so will have a goo at those now. Thank you.

Deep purple and black wouldn't really do it I don't think, the wedding is June so I want to keep it as summery and light as possible. I wouldn't be a big shoes and back matcher upperer either sorry thank you though!

I love the idea of pairing it with with leopard print! The patterns are jarring but I don't think they 'clash'. I'm not gone on the platform peep toe though, I'd be more inclined to go for something closed toe pointed with a whopper stiletto.

I have visions of an Imelda May kinda outfit! I was looking at those, but unfortunately I don't feel the pattern is right, the ideal should would be that shape but with the pattern of the peep toe ones I pictured!

I get these exact images into my head and find it hard to compromise with myself :pac:

Thanks for your help, I'll keep looking for a stiletto court. The annoying thing is, I had a pair for years.....and years and years and years and I never wore them. Of course I put them in the charity bin earlier this year. I want those ones back!!!

Just as a by the by. By complete coincidence I discovered that you get 20% of new season stock on spartoo.EU if you buy two pairs, 25% of for three, 30% for 4 and 35% for 5. Because I needed flip flops, just simple everyday sandals, shoes for my son , my partner and his father were in the market for runners, we ended up buying seven pairs.

Anyway I also can't justify spending too much for shoes I would rarely wear but because my feet swell really badly in plastic I have to spend a bit more on shoes. To cut the long story short I got a pair to match completely different dress for 80 euros. Something similar might work with that dress too.

Yes, love those ones. I actually tried a beautiful pair of pointed stiletto courts on last week in a slightly stronger colour than that and would have bought them on the spot only for the price, but they seem to be "in" at the moment so dunnes or penneys might have similar!
