    They are only machines in my opinion but for some they seem human, so what distinguishes a male car from a female car.

    I speak 3 languages, in one it's masculine, in another it's feminine and in the other (English) I'm pretty sure it's neutral.

    I just call it "the car" most of the time.

    "feck I left my bag in the car" or "grand I'll just jump in the car and head over now so" are examples of when I refer to it in conversation.
