So I'm currently working through an agency, temping in two Hospitals for the past year. My role in the last year involved reception, admin, secretary, PA, accounts assistant.

I know it sounds like an awful lot in the space of a year but I seem to have picked it up very quickly starting off in reception and being asked to extend my role further in finance, which involved chasing over €100,000 claims. I worked within reception, updating databases, inputting adequate filing systems to improve efficiency within my first 3 months. I worked in this facility for half a year then moving on to a different medical environment.

In my new role, I have covered PA, invoicing, charging, medical terminology and advanced secretarial/administrating roles. I recently applied for a job which was under the level of which I'm currently undergoing. A friend of mine which has little to none admin and hospital experience was shortlisted for interview, yet I was told I did not meet the Criteria?

I am disheartened and utterly feeling degraded in the fact that I was not shortlisted for at least an interview as I know I am more than capable of carrying out the job required with little to no training. (I don't mean that in a way that I'm fantastic, it's just disappointing you cannot have the opportunity to qualify for interview in a job that is under the standard/level in which you ar carrying out on a daily basis.) Also my friend had sent me a copy of the job description, which nearly covered everything I am doing on a daily basis.

Can anyone please give me any advice as to what I can do to advance my chance in being shortlisted for interview in the furute? Should I start my CV from scratch? Any advice is appreciated as feeling quite under appreciated/low (not good enough) about this.
