Ok so pretty much looking for a forgiving driver that comes with a stock shaft of 45" min or less if possible. I dont want to be getting into shortening shafts myself and changing swingweights etc.

    So any recommendation?

The ping g30 has some slightly heavier tour shafts that are available for no extra charge and their stock length is 45.25. Have the tour 65 shaft in mine and happy with it

Best bet buy an a weight adjustable driver R11, R1, R15. Cut and regrip the shaft yourself and use http://www.leaderboard.com/swingwt.htm
To keep the swingweight the same before and after. After market weights available on ebay.
Or just pay a club fitter €200 fitting service to do the same your choice.

€200 to get a shaft shortened and a head reweighted? Who charges that? It's normally around €20.

Taylor Made Mini Driver ( SLDR or Areoburner) could be what you are after, 43.5" shaft - the loft options are only 12,14 and 16 though.

You can order Ping G30 with a shorter shaft - I got a G30 with Tour 80 shaft and specified 44.75"

Very Happy with it - no extra charge from normal. titleist also offer this

Pretty sure the stock shaft on the old titleist 910 D2 driver was shorter than most, maybe 44.5?
