    A) Project is worth 37.5% of the total marks. Which is 150 out of the total 400 marks.
    B) The 3 hour practical piece is worth 37.5% of the total marks. Which is 150 out of the total 400 marks. This secures you with a B or a C grade if you do both of them well.

The written paper as you may know is worth a total of 100 marks, leading up to the 400 marks.
    Good luck

There are two types of marking for the 20% part which is finish, function and assembly.
Subjective Marking 1-10 and Subjective Marking 1-5.

    1- Very poor
    2- Poor
    3 - Good
    4- Very Good
    5 - Excellent.

    1-10
    1-2 - Very poor
    3-4 - Poor
    5-6 Good
    7-8 - Very good
    9 - 10 Excellent.

Marking of the assembly and finish:
    Subjective 1-5
    Marking of the function:
Subjective 1-10. Your project must be functional for more marks.

The rest of marks go for like, overall shape is right, where the holes drilled are, are right, and atleast if the piece is marked out itself.

Design is usually 20 marks, This is for your LED system in the stock car and the front axle.

It's fairly hard to actually like, fail metalwork if you make a good attempt at it. Unless your pieces are totally incomplete and can't function, or are made etc you could have a chance. If you're worried about the exam note that you have a chance of getting an honour even before you do the exam.

Is it hard to get an A in this subject like if my car works fine and theres not alot of gaps inbetween pieces and the leds function 100%
and my practical moves fully no stoppage and its finished well
And if i get like 95% on the written test would i get an A

Definitely. Like if you have all your project and practical up to standard all you need is like 50-57% to scrape an A, maybe 60% in the written but 95% will definitely land you an A if your project is up to standard, ditto the practical.
