    Hi all
I am looking at bringing in a 2012 V60 D3(163)R-Design Premium manual from UK. A few questions?

Anybody here have a D3 V60 or even better D3 R-Design? Any thoughts positive or negative? Anything I should look out for when buying?

What rate of motor tax do you pay?

Looking at the VRT calculator the CO2 is down as 144 and on Volvo selekt UK have CO2 is 132. A difference of €973 in VRT. I spoke with garage they sent on info confirming it is 132. They also gave me engine code D5204T3 Anybody know what the CO2 of that engine code is? The car was registered in March 2012

    Thanks in advance D

There is probably an identical model currently in stillorgan motors. Tax rate advertised is in the B2 band (130-140)

What does the one your looking at compare to the one in stillorgan in terms of price?

I think there was an engine change over in 2012. Early D3 were the 2.0 litre 5 cylinder engine (smaller capacity version of the 2.4 D5 engine). I think that engine was then dropped and replaced with the newer 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine with lower emissions. Would explain the difference in Co2 ratings. Anyway they go by what is listed on the car's V5 registration document.

    False.

    Earliest Drive-E (4 cylinder) D4's you'll see are '141.

In 2012 there was a model change alright where the existing 'D3' 5 cylinder became the 'D4' and a new 136bhp 'D3' was slotted into the range to fill the void left by the discontinuing of the PSA 2.0D.
