    Hey all,
Anybody done microbiology or zoology in 2nd year at nuig could give me a bit of advice? I did both this year just gone and loved them both tbh. I am finding it hard to choose between them and the deadline for 2nd science subject choices is at 5pm today.
Maybe the outrageous fail rate for zoology is tipping me in favour of micro...
Any help would be great.... Before 5pm

Flip a coin? It's a personal preference. No one will be able to give you the right answer.

Micro for sure. It's a soft subject in second year even if you're not into it. Two modules are 100% lab based. I didn't take second year zoology but most of the people I know who took it in second year dropped it at the end of the year. It's quite tough going. Choose whichever you like best though!
