My wife told me she heard some feature on radio yesterday (Thurs May 14) and she cannot recall which channel she heard on.
She believes it was morning time.

It spoke about some guy who had a sinus blockage and had it investigated and found something surprising blocking his sinuses.
Does this ring a bell for any of you radio listeners ?

I am guessing it was either Radio 1 or Newstalk

I am interested to listen back.
I checked Murray show and Sean O'Rourke items and nothing obvious showed up.

Is it possible that she heard a piece that was in the papers (I think I heard it mentioned on Ian Dempsey's show) about a guy that had sinus problems all his life, and one day sneezed out a piece from a rubber dart that he had gotten lodged up his nose as a child. It had been up there 20 or 30 years.

I heard that story on Ray D'Arcy's show on Wednesday ... It was particularly memorable for me as I was on the road, about to get my teeth in to a chicken roll for my late lunch, when the guy started talking about a dart stuck up his nose... The chicken roll didnt seem so appealing after hearing that..
