Solar Panel Question

    Hi

We just purchased a new build at first fix stage and completed it, however, the property was built in 2008 and left unfinished. Solar panels were on said house, uncovered and when we finally completed all the plumbing we were informed there was a fault with the solar panels due to the length of time they had been left unused and uncovered. So my question is has anyone any experience with this scenario and how do we go about rectifying same, do we need to totally replace the panels or is there anything else we can try to fix the fault?

    TIA
