Disability Allowance

    I am currently on Jobseekers Allowance.

    This is EUR188 per week.

    If I was to satisfy the test for disability allowance would I then be paid both allowances or just one.

    Would I get EUR188 by 2 or just one payment to cover both?

    All answers appreciated. :)

    If you qualify for DA and are awarded, your Jobseekers Allowance payment will be closed automatically. Someone who applies and qualifies for Disability Allowance would be seen as not fit for full time work and therefore not qualifiable for Jobseeker's payments.

    In short, you'll only qualify for one payment of €188.

    That' certainly answers my question regarding disability. I recently received a letter confirming that I've been approved for disability allowance. I'm just wondering what happens next as the next signing-on day is this tuesday (the 5th of June).
