Anyone know which shops in the Dublin area stock Kask? I know Fitz Cycles in Stillorgan is one, and that place in Howth did until it shut down, but anywhere else?

Bought mine in Cycle Surgery, Dundrum.

Bring your sunglasses when fitting as their rear retention mechanism can clash with them (esp. Oakleys).

That is correct. Not sure on the price though. Seen a saddle there at €140 where online shipped its €90.

Suppose you could make that statement about any shop really, couldn't you?

A helmet is something that I would pay a little more for though. I was buying recently and took ages trying on various different sizes/brands/types etc and then made my decision. Worth it in my opinion. That said, now that I know my size in the new brand, if I was upgrading in the future I would most likely go online if it was massively cheaper.

As I said I don't know how they're priced their helmets. I looked at saddle I was interested in and the price difference was massive. Even when factoring the cost of returning if you buy online.

Good piece of advice there if you're considering the vertigo. I'm not sure about the other models but the double hinge on the vertigo is comfortable but bulky so my glasses end up sitting on the frame.

completely irrelevant but just received a KASK rapido from bike24 - entry level helmet but very light at 220g for €60. Mojito was going for only €97

the trick to get these prices is to set UK as destination country - then use parcel motel or similar

helmet is great, though the oakley fitting can be tricky - its tolerable on mine!
