Digiweb or Magnet?

Is there anyone who have used the two above and have any opnions about them, I am looking to sign up with their Broadband but i am a bit skeptical about their service? Both of them are not offering me Fibre (just NGB) which is just before Fibre.

ended up getting 24Mb Fatpipe Stream from Magnet for 46.99 pm, hope its not troublesome in the end, i can cancel it anytime which is probably why i signed up!

did you get this yet, i've had digiweb for 2 year and am switching to magnet this week,

heard that magnet throttle all ports but http, don't know if this is still the same or not,

got kn out today to install ntu, and connect up modem which is the Thompson Technicolor 589 modem
online straight away, first impressions were ok, till i tried to download ftp via filzilla, only getting 1mb.
tried a speed test and getting 55mb down and 20 mb up,

check modem setting with the following user name and password

Username: admin
Password: m4gn3tTG589

only to find out this is the admin not the administrator password
this only give superuser permissions, with lots of the modem options still locked out.

does ayone have the administrator password?

so far first impressions not that great. won;t be able to get to playing around with it for another day or too as on shift and not in that house till weekend.

i got the o contract option for this reason to check it out, think i'll be cancelling it if i can get any joy from magnet on my issues, going to try get pppoe username and password to see if i can set up my own modem and see if that improves anything,

Magnet have always limited ftp to 1MBps for some stupid reason. You can't bypass it without the added expense of a vpn.

i was under the impression they stopped this the end of last year when they changed there fair usage policy..
