Inexpensive Functional Laptop

Just another laptop ask, I’m afraid :o Mine recently gave up the ghost and I need to buy something quick. I’m not too versed on specs, so just a couple of things – primarily, it needs to be cheap! I don’t play games. I don’t require any spectacular graphics or unnecessary bloat. On the other hand, I don’t want a machine that can barely manage the basics. Effectively, all I will be using it for is

    - Office (and only Word processing, really)
    - Browsing (youtube etc)
    - Watching movies
    - Maybe listening to some music (speaker quality would be a plus)

That’s it really. I don’t need a webcam, touchscreen, DVD drive etc. A decent keyboard would be nice but unimportant. I do a lot of writing and this is what it will mostly be used for.

I plan on investing in a proper machine soon, I just need something to tide me over in the meantime.

    Appreciate any advice.
