Hi all Interested in buying a 2011/2012 5 series. Just looking to see if anyone has a gauge of the annual maintenance costs involved in owning one, Service costs etc? Thanks

Have a 2011 520d auto since the end of October last year, have put just over 15k km on it to date. Even though the "official" service interval is 30k km I had an oil service done on it recently (30k km interval is too long on these engines imo), cost €165 from the main dealer. Other than that the car hasn't cost me anything in the way of maintenance or repairs though the car came with a 2 year BMW dealer warranty.
