Water damaged Car

    Lads i a'm thinking about buying a car of a dealer but the thing is i think this car may have come in from England and i have been told that Cars are been sold over here that were water damaged in the floods over there. Any one know anything about this think u in advance.

    That's true on a lot of English imports not to mention the amount of rust underneath.
    I done 8 pre NCT tests on cars today
    All except one are only in the country an from England. 2010,2011, 2012 cars and all in bad way.
    Rust on rear chassis on em all.
    England roads have salt on em and it's eaten into chassis.
    The only irish model was a Renault modus and was mint compare to these cars.

    Presumably a dealer will have evidence of a history check

    Not every car from the UK that arrives over here is dodgy or water damaged. Like buying any used car, buy from a reputable source and do proper background checks on the particular car.

    Exactly, it's the laxed attitude of buyers in this country on history checks and service history that keep dodgy sellers going.
