    When I drink beer I get awful grouchy, irritable and paranoid and end up arguing with people.

    It doesn't seem to happen if I drink whiskey or vodka it seems. My question is , is that just a coincidence that I had a bad/good experience when I was drinking a certain drink or is there such thing as " x drink doesn't suit me " ??

    I'm allergic to vodka. Other than that I don't really suffer with hangovers. Regardless of what I've drank the night before.

    I think there is a serious and genuine point about the darker the drink, the worse the impact. I know personally that I've had worse nights from whiskey and rum, than I have from vodka.
