    Hi,

I'm in a BA course and am considering leaving after this year to complete a PLC in a related field. If I don't leave, I would want to do it after I complete this course anyway. Does anybody know how fees work in this sense, or am I even eligible to do a PLC if I have a BA? I know I can't get a grant but I don't qualify for one now anyway, only free fees.

    Thanks

The fees for FE colleges are usually pretty low; there's a €200 government fee and most colleges charge two or three hundred "registration fees", plus thirty something euro for exam fees. Anything else is materials, and can vary from fifty euro to over a thousand for something like hairdressing.

You should be eligible to do a PLC, but you would have to apply and be interviewed along with everyone else. The fact that you have a degree in a related area would definitely help.
