Jonah Lomu - the man who played Rugby like no other before him at the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Like a Ballet Dancer with the power of a Bulldozer, he tore defences apart and became the first Superstar of the Professional era.

I remember getting a compilation of some of his 1995 World Cup tries, it was one of the first videos I could get to work on this new Internet thing. It was mezmerising. I watched it over and over again.

Kidney disease hit him hard (eventually requiring a transplant), and we can only wonder at what a fully fit Lomu would have achieved. He played International Rugby on and off until 2002 (including more glimpses of his greatness at the 1999 RWC) but it's the 1995 tries that I will always remember.
