Need to replace the rear shocks (mr. NCT spotted a leak.). I noticed "Optimal" shocks on micksgarage are on discount. Does anyone have any experience of these? I've seen posts slating the quality of some Micksgarage stuff and was wondering if these fall into the same bracket.

Got a pair recently from local motor factors for a 99 Corolla (NCT fail for shocks). Passed with the new ones.

Lads in MF said they're German made.

Fitted a pair to the rear of my wife's CMax about a month ago after NCT failed. So far, so good, the shocks are fine. The car passed the retest but I noticed that there was still a significant imbalance on side that failed and I reckon a rear bush is the cause. No doubt it will fail again next year.... :(
