    Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has any opinions on possible run around (valued atbetween 3-5k) to buy. Looking for cars that have a reputation for beingreliable even with age.

I have always driven Diesel car's (due to traveling long distances) howeverwith a change in job I only need something to get me to the train station andback each day, so open to suggestions.

Note Micra's have already been vetoed.:rolleyes:

    Thanks!

    Size? Passengers? Luggage?

For a driver only short run to the station, I'd be looking at a 1.25 Fiesta, or a Clio.

If you are going to spend more time/distance in it, a Mini Cooper?

00 Polo. Petrol or Diesel. Put the other 2-4000 euro towards holiday/classic car etc.

(even if it gets dinged by someone's door, or bumped, you wont mind too much)

Can't really go wrong with a Mk.1 Toyota Yaris for running about, peppy enough with the 1.3 too.
