    Have a 07 corsa 1.3cdti
Had a broken glow plug and had to get a helicoil put in, new gasket, timing chain, water pump, 1 reconditioned injector and new EGR, and turbo gaskets and 4 new glow plugs

Can is a bit sluggish to start and it's very smokey and engine sounds a bit rough splutters , rpm needle flicks too. Engine was always a bit smoky starting from new but now it's worse.
you can see a bit of white/grey smoke when accelerating , this was not the case before the head was removed to machine the broken glow plug.

Have run a cleaner through the system to see if it helps and it hasn't improved much after 3 weeks.

Any ideas of what problem could be ?

Them 1.3's a re a disaster cheif sorry to say. You proably know that by now though! You change the fuel filter? Fixed up one recently. Had to take off the intake manifold and clean it out. Cleaning the EGR alone was a waste of time. Manifold was full of the black sludgey crap too.

I agree! Great engine until you have to do something to them! The glow plugs are like pencils, break too easy

Anybody else got any ideas why the engine would act like this?
