    Two for me tomorrow.

14 55 Beverley. Lady Ibrox. Not in love with the name but hopefully will be a winner and I can live with myself:).
Has won off 90 in Sept 2012. Finished 3rd 3 runs ago off 73, second 2 runs ago off 72 and has somehow dropped 5 Lbs to a mark of 68. Now thats generous handicapping. Will handle the ground and has had plenty of good runs since wining without getting over the line. On a career low mark and I feel the 14s is available is good value. Missed the 16s available earlier. 2 pts win.

    19 45 Killarney
" JACKEMIL can’t have the ground soft enough and her three wins to-date include mile events at Navan and Limerick. Two years have passed since the latest of those off a mark of 66 but she has tumbled in the ratings as a result, and her latest outing at Limerick had the bells ringing that a further success may be just around the corner. The John Joe Walsh-trained mare came home strongly over seven furlongs, and this trip should be more to her liking" Lifted from Irish racing. Saves me typing. Anyway I completely agree and think the 12s available is value. As low as 7/1 with PP. 2 pts win.

    .5pt ew double,

That race has me intrigued -

Amenable, Hayley Turner up, trained by Conor Dore, won the race last year, when trained by Ann Stokell, ridden by Oisin Murphy and owned by Steve Arnold.

Tomorrow Arnold has Pull The Pin in the race, trained by Heather Dalton, who now trains Arnold's horses that have been moved from Stokell, Shirley Teasdale usually rides Arnold's horses for Dalton but Oisin Murphy rides tomorrow.

So, is Amenable lined up for a repeat success, or has Arnold lined up a "job" with an ace jockey up?

Or am I reading too much into the race?

can see pull the pin being in there to blaze a trail and set a strong pace for amenable to pick up the pieces. wouldn't be the first time arnold had pull the pin in to set a race up for another fancied horse that he would be in someway involved with.

19th march 2014, pull the pin set up a race for profile star to win( big gamble) I'll be on amenable anyway.

    Thanks. Might try him myself.

Speaking of previous year's winners, Popaway won the hunters chase at Southwell last year and turns out again tomorrow, 6.20. Usually avoid these races like the plague but ....?

only 2 horses I fancy today and they're both in the same race :(

    4:45 Sedgefield

George Nympton - Has dropped 28lb in a year, and proved he's not gone at the game when a close 2nd last time out, albeit a 3 horse race. runs off the same mark again and should go close.

Pindar - Close 2nd to a subsequent winner off 3lb higher a couple of months ago, and also beat a subsequent winner by 4L off just 2lb lower over c&d last september. And being a former Barney Curley horse, the early money coming for this is of significant note.

The name could be worse - Thatcherite is in the same race.

2:55 Beverley: Lorimor's Lot at 13.0 and take an e/w chance on Adiator at 20/1.

    Adiator a fast closing second.

Onto Tinsill in the next. Each way at a mean 8/1 and a bit of 11.0 on the win.

There's a huge headwind there at Beverley and the amount of jockeys who don't even look for cover is criminal.

Wish I had known Roca Rojo was running and even more so there was strong info for it! Her half brother Roca Tumu (now Beauty Flame in Hong Kong) was a horse I always liked a lot and who I backed to win at Royal Ascot and who has finished 2nd to the top, top class Able Friend (including two Group 1s) on his last 2 starts.

Most definitely a horse worth following.

No bother lads - pity I couldn't have informed earlier as she was 20s last night. Won as she liked and a bit green so will be even better the next day.
