Had to laugh at some of the stuff in this article.

Quote "In most cases, based off current technology, the range is just not in a place where it can be compared with, say, a diesel engine which is the epitome of efficiency ."End Quote.

A diesel the epitome of efficiency ? this is a crazy statement to say the least. The diesel is at best 35-40% efficient and the EV over 80% in fact after a hard drive in any diesel the engine is roasting, lift the bonnet of the Leaf after a hard drive and try find any heat !!!

Quote "Fancy blasting out some tunes? That’s gonna cost ya. Getting a bit chilly and want to stick on the air conditioning? Well, be prepared to stop sooner rather than later to charge." End Quote.

Blasting tunes will cost you range ? I think not !! ridiculous. !!!!

"getting a bit chilly and want to stick on the AC ? Hmm think it's heat you want if it's chilly ? either way at most the Leaf tells me the heat at 20 deg C will cost me about 5 miles range but once warmed up 2 miles.

So much emphasis on using the heater, the heat pump in the Leaf is very efficient, wind and a cold battery are your greatest enemy !!!

Quote"Even driving at night is going to be less efficient because it eats away at the car’s battery."End Quote.

This just gets crazier ? how could night time driving be less efficient ? the lights ? LMAO

OK so if you have the halogens and use 110 watts on the dipped lights, 110 watts for even 2 hrs is 220 watt hrs used enough out of a total of 21,000 watt hrs, do the maths to see how ridiculous this sounds !

The charging info in the pic at the end of the article quotes charging times for all but the 6.6 kw charger. 4 hrs for 0-100%.
