I'm thinking of getting the below laptop which has an i3-4030u processor and a solid state hard drive and 4GB ram.

    Currently I have a normal HDD, 3GB DDR3 ram, and an i3-370m.

Should I expect much performance improvement between what I currently have and what I'm thinking of getting. Currently have this laptop for 3 years and like all laptop's it has started to slow down in recent months.

35% boost in CPU performance, potential lower temperatures / higher battery life (35W -> 15W).
What you'd notice most of all though is the difference between a HDD and SSD.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is it worth the money? I'm certain the same laptop in the link was only 399 last week!

Depends if you were up to upgrading your old one with and SSD. be about €100 for 250GB SSD, and re-install windows.

That would get you pretty close to the new one for a fifth of the price.

from my experience Lenovo can come with a few problems so search forums on that model to see if there is any, Ive had 2 Lenovo laptops, both i3's and had network issues with both

Just realised it's a 4005u processor! What is the difference between that and my current one?

    Nevermind, it's about a 22% increase.
