unauthorized callsign D0B on 14.197 now

    I'm just listening to D0B on 20m, which should be a callsign from Angola. The operator gives Donetsk as his qth and the country as "People's Republic of Donetsk". I did not call him...

    I worked a Kosovo station recently and then found out that its not a country...

    There are plenty of D0/D1 stations operating. Some of them may have a genuine Ukrainian license but I would imagine that these callsigns are self-assigned.

    Just a sidenote - Angola is D2/D3 - D0/D1 are currently unassigned

    Oddly some countries the Licence doesn't cover conversation with even Army Cadets, never mind people with no licence at all.
