Bank Draft

    1. What details do I need for the person that I am making the bank draft out to?
    2. Do I need to go to my local BOI branch or can I go to any BOI branch to get a bank draft?

    Good Morning CathyMcGee1,

    Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie

    You can purchase Bank Draft in any Bank of Ireland branch. You will require the amount you wish to pay and the recipients name. Just to mention, drafts can only be issued for amounts of E500 and above. 

    Alternatively, if you are registered for 365Online you can add the payee's details and make an electronic transfer for an amount of your choice. 

    Please remember to bring photo ID with you on the day.
