People whispering in your ear

I live in Portugal and twice a week go to the local barbers for a shave etc and it has come to my attention that the barber who is of Moroccan decent is whispering when he is doing my shave,at first I paid no attention but lately it seems to be getting worse, and now to my horror,a massuir of Thai decent in which I frequent is now the doing the same,both seem to be chanting, are they trying to posses me ? Or put evil or good spirits into me ..what's going on folks ?

I got that before when they were relaxingly talking while the barbers hands were going everywhere on my face except the air surrounding my head area. Either the barber was congratulating your hair and face to his peers, or he was saying to his fellow man that he would like to take you to bed and munch on your provocatives ? who knows, it's a strange world.

Afaik Moroccan/Turkish/Middle Eastern barbers generally dont touch the clients head so move your head for cutting by touching the ears or chin etc.

Quite a lot of people report getting a wonderful feeling from this being done to them. So perhaps he is attempting to add a little to his service. Its a phenomenon that occurs in many people called ASMR - or Autonomous sensory meridian response.

There is even a lot of You Tube videos tailored for people to stimulate this response. A user above posted one of them with the virtual Barber Shop video - but there is loads more out there. And it is getting quite popular.
