So I've finalised my cao options and I have Galway as my first and my second choices but here's the hiccup I'm doubting whether or not I will make my first choice and I'm wondering if I do and legal studies which is part of the arts program and then finally do the LLB programme will I be taken seriously as other students doing law and career prospects?

Don't see why it should be an issue. There is no reason why you wont be taken seriously by other law students etc and your career prospects wont certainly be at a disadvantage by you taking this route.
