Fourth Generation HIV test accuracy

I have a very very big worry :(

I had sexual intercourse back on the 12th of March.

5 weeks later on the 17th of April I tested myself with the fourth generation test and it was tested in the National Viral Reference Lab from the UCD.

    Test came back negative.

    How accurate is this?

I have all the HIV symptoms so I am in severe stress and worry.

Please anybody who has some knowledge of these new HIV tests, please respond on my thread.

If you actually genuinely think you have "all the HIV symptoms", you need to talk to a doctor, not some randomers on the internet.

However, I think you'll find that being HIV positive is actually fairly symptomless.

Now, if you think you might actually have full blown AIDS, then that might be different. However, if that's the case, you caught it long before March 12th!

No I only had sexual intercourse on the 12th of March and before that it was somewhere back in 2012.

But no these so called HIV symptoms are very serious as I have now these symptoms:

im very worried coz the guy i had the encounter with is bi sexual
my symptoms were after 1 week swollen glands in the neck and a bit sore throat
then my belly got very bloated on the end of march
every one was thinking that i was pregnant
i got then weird feeling also in end of march my upper arms felt very weak
    then a month later
in april the 15th i started to get pins and needles in both my hands
and then also in my feet
i got very sick on the 19th of april
a call doctor came at my house
he said it was a viral gastro thing a tummy bug
i had severe diarrhoea watery that day
and puked a bit only ones
and then i was very weak
i couldn't even stand up out of bed
i was three days in bed couldn't eat at all
    only small sips of water
i then after three days started to eat slowly
just light a bowl of soup and brown bread but the diarrhoea did not really go away now three weeks later i still have every day loose stools
i stand up and some time i get morning sick nausea
in the mornings this not is every day though
but if i throw up in the morning only spit comes out
only thing i did not get is a real rash the so called hiv rash

I forgot to tell, I also had mid April thrush on my tongue and I had to buy a special cream and
this morning when I woke up for the first time I was covered with clammy sweat on my upper body and my pillow was wet from sweat that I had on the back of my neck and my hair was all sweat and also again the thrush suddenly came back on my tongue.

So this now completely freaked me out as I have also again this morning quite a'lot of diarrhoea.

I am so sad that I've cried most of the day.

Go to a doctor. Not the internet.

    Thirded and closed.

Please read the charter, particularly the bit about asking for medical advice.
