Groupon refund query

Hi, I booked a hotel night stay off the Groupon french website. I received my confirmation email etc, but 15 mins later I received an email stating that the booking had been successfully cancelled. I was very puzzled- I didn't cancel it and was looking forward to going. Reading the terms and conditions, there is no refund…

Hi, I booked a hotel night stay off the Groupon french website. I received my confirmation email etc, but 15 mins later I received an email stating that the booking had been successfully cancelled. I was very puzzled- I didn't cancel it and was looking forward to going. Reading the terms and conditions, there is no refund given if the cancellation was made 15 days prior to arriving- so I get no refund, even though it wasn't me that cancelled!Nothing is stated about a refund on the mystery cancellation email

What should I do- any help appreciated

Have you tried asking Groupon https://www.groupon.fr/support_membres ?
