banned for a week mod abusing power

I have been told I am banned for a week for 'messing around'

I am posting this here. Not for the ban to be reversed. But so the category mod is made aware of the way the mod issued the ban.

    I have contacted pat

I asked what the issue was and got a weeks ban. I do not appreciate a mod abusing powers unnecessarily.

I can not see the thread or reason for the ban and neither do I think I was messing around. Or even if messing around is justification for a week long ban.

My input was helpful in resolving the ops question, I didn't break the forums charter and I did not offend or troll. I was given no infractions, I was told not to post in the forum again. I asked what the issue was and I was banned for a week.

Please take a look at the thread and I will send on the private messages with the cowboy if you would like to see them. He helped provide information to submit a complaint regarding the advert to the asai. Which was the ops question about a breech of advertising regulations.

This is the second time I am aware a mod has abused power and I think the issue should be raised with the mod to follow procedures and avoid unnecessary extreme actions.

I don't know if the mod has an alternate motive for banning me. He could possibly be religious or a no voter in the referendum and taken it upon himself to ban me as I want a fair election. But I do know for sure, it is not right or justifiable.

DRP is only for disputing bans or infractions. Since there's nothing being disputed, this is being closed.
