It happened to me with my 3G signal, now it's repeating with 4G

I'm getting a sniff (one bar) of a 4G signal about 60% of the time in ONE corner of my house.
Can't get it outside the house anywhere.

God knows what way or what it's bouncing off.
I'm getting a fairly solid 6 Mb down when I have the signal.

It's mostly failing back to EDGE otherwise.

As I said, had the same thing with my 3G signal a few years ago. Worked brilliantly in one corner of the house for years, then suddenly stopped.
It's now living inside dongle in a plastic bottle attached to the gutter.

Any tips on home made (or other) ways to improve the signal in the house ?
