Registering an e commerce business when renting

    Hi All

    I would like to set up an e commerce business and want to register the name.


    The issue i have is that im renting a house.

    Is there any way around this like renting a storage unit and using that as the company address?

    In my contract it says it can not be used for commercial purposes, only a private dwelling

    Don't think it would matter to be honest as your only using the address.....will you be storing stock on the premises?

    You could ask you LL if he wouldn't mind.....other than that maybe parents or siblings if they own there home
    Is there any regulations where the LL might get hit for tax or anything?

    Plenty of companies offer a registered office service if you can't do it from your home address.
