Installing Vodafone Home Broadband.

I had Eircom's efibre & phone service up to February. No service at all since then.

Was thinking of getting Vodafone's Simply Broadband only product. Since I have a VDSL equipped landline, is there much hassle involved of getting it installed? Do I need to get the landline reactivated first before contacting Vodafone? Will a Vodafone technician need to call to the house to install the modem etc?

    Why is there no service?

Sorry, worded wrongly. Should have said I cancelled Eircom, haven't had an alternative provider since.

    Sorry for the thread bump.

Just to summarise, cancelled eircom's efibre in February. Line is inactive since then. Thinking of getting Vodafone's standalone broadband (€38 pm). Does a Vodafone tech need to call out to set this up, change the faceplate on the main socket etc? Or would they just post out a modem, since everything seems to be in place from before?

Ask them. The port you were connected to in the cab may have been reissued, nobody here will know
