Socket outlet on lighting circuit

Situation with a small boiler house with one single light.

Someone added a socket to the lighting circuit.

Rather than run a separate cable all the way back to the consumer unit,
would it be acceptable to replace the socket with one which integral RCD?

    Would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

Remember the socket cable must be correctly sized, that means a minimum of a 2.5mm sq. cable.

My preference would be to feed the socket from a socket circuit (so correctly sized MCB / RCD or RCBO) and then feed the light from a fused spur outlet.
