Hi there. I got the esse greenswitch multi fuel stove installed about 2 yrs ago. I don't think I lite it that often. Mainly Fri and Saturday nights. The grate has all but disintegrated. I paid alot of money to install it, has this happen to anyone else? Where do I get a grate only? Any garrenttees with grates? Thanks in advance. In Ireland btw.

As far as i know you do not get a guarantee for a grate, you could try a stove shop that supply esse stoves, their are a few in ireland, or you could try spares at esse.com

I have had this same type stove for nearly three years now and never had a problem with the grate. Except for a few weeks in the summer, it has been lit every single night, and in really cold spells it has been going non stop for nearly a week.
What are you burning in your stove, if it is normal household coal it could get too hot for the grate, smokeless coal is best.
