Hey folks, noticed something when I was checking my tyres this morning ( pressures etc) the front passenger side tyre says inside while the other 3 say outside.
Had a bit of a google but couldn't find anything definite. New enough tyres bought about a month ago.
    They're a hankook kinergy tyre 205/55r16.

I wouldn't think it'd be dangerous but I'd still get it changed around.

    It's also an NCT fail.

It's potentially dangerous. Tyre threads have patterns designed to channel water from the middle of the tyre to the outside. Directional tyres such as yours are designed to do this more efficiently, provided they are installed correctly. Placing them in the wrong direction has the opposite effect, channelling water to the middle of the tyre, making aqua-planning a much greater possibility. Bad for business :)

Sure just go back to the place where you got it and let them know and they will correct their error.

Go back to tyre shop and ask them to fit it on correctly some tyres are also dirrectional worth checking

Cheers folks. Just back from the place. Instant apologies for the error and tyre reversed.
    Thanks for the advice all.

They're not directional though. They have an inside and an outside.

    It's called asymmetric.
