I have a few low sheds here that are straw bedded and are tight to work in. I am currently using a 4000 to clean them out but she still won't get into a few of the corners and I have the top of the cab bet off the poor auld lady trying. I won't be buying anything for a while but I saw a lad in a tight area today working a 520 50 and just thought she would suit my needs to a tee. Is anybody out there using one as a farm loader and how are they working.

Think Deepsouthwest bought one in the last year. Maybe fire him off a PM.
I think there a real tidy machine with great visibility.

Any chance you can cut a bit off the roof going in?

We did this years ago when swapping the loader off the old 5000 to the 7610.

Neighbour here has one of those little jcb loader and reckon sits a dinger around the yard, not great in wet fields as it doesn't have great ground clearance.

Think deeps wife is getting jealous of the 520 he loves it so much :-)

Eventually drove one of these yesterday. Loved it. Cleaned out a couple of sheds in jig time and found her real handy and maneuverable in tight areas. Not sure she will suit due to the way you have to step up over the side to get into her though. Alright for me now but the boss would surely find it difficult over a period of time.

The 520 40 looks better from that point of view. I'd love one of them but realistically wouldn't have the work or the pocket for one of them!!! Definitely if I won the lotto!

Do u clean out the sheds often. You good hire a small artic loader handy enough from some hire places. These would be the small machines but they'd go anywhere and once it's out of the shed use your own one to draw away

I'd personally rather a bobcat myself. But they are the only job in tight sheds and they have plenty of power in them

The side entry is nice in the jcb, climbing over the implements to get in the front of the others can be a pain in the ass as the bones start to creek
