This will be Windows system files and will be in your c drive. Documents will remain untouched and will be in users

Thanks - found all the stuff.

Now I see cut copy paste etc , but file is 31GB ,- can I move some of the folders to 'documents ' without copying again ?

I just need to figure it out , cos if I copy and paste , it will reduce the space left on HD , and as it is now , there is only 20 gigs out of 140 remaining

    - its so easy to use memory nowadays

Just drag to the new folder (default is move for the same drive), or use cut and paste

Storage, hard drive space is called storage. Memory is Ram and is a different thing completely, it's really quick and the info does not survive a reboot.

+1 copy command will duplicate the files and use x2 the space. If you drag and drop within the same drive it will automatically move them without copy. Copy 32 gig would take ages moving them is quick because only indexes are updated
